Home is often spatially constituted through relations with the environment - with animals, plants and landscapes. The production, processing and consumption of food play a crucial role for this process. This anthropological and geographical project integrates two complementary perspectives: home as consolidated in memory of the multisensorial experience of an environment that is about to pass away (at the example of ecological upheaval in rural Southeast Asia), and home as imagined future relations with a healthy environment and food (at the example of bioregionalism in the US).
