In this project, an efficient numerical multiscale model is developed to describe the macroscopic material behaviour of hybrid porous (HyPo) materials based on the microscale using a FE-FFT (Finite Element - Fast Fourier Transform) approach. This allows the simulative investigation of the influence of different microstructural morphologies, e.g., varying porosities, as well as hybrid material compositions on macroscopic component properties in a highly efficient simulative manner. The mechanical and thermal behaviour as well as their interaction are the focus of the modelling.
