The research project D02 examines how the conditions of observation made possible by digitization in contemporary german-language literature are translated into a poetics of virtuality. It reconstructs how literature, from the point of view of quantity and connectivity, gains independent perspectives on virtual lifeworlds, which in turn are developed from their interaction with the computer, but also with the concepts of Digital Humanities and the theories of virtuality.
