Ökophysiologische Strategien und funktionelle Merkmale als Indikatoren für das Verhalten von Pflanzen unter verschiedener Ressourcenlimitierung in Grünland
Zusammenfassung der Projektergebnisse
The project “Ecophysiological strategies and functional trait syndromes as predictors for plant performance under different resource limitation in grassland” aimed at identifying morphological and ecophysiological traits that enable grassland species and species combinations to cope with the combined stressors drought and nitrogen limitation. It was initially scheduled for two years (6 month extension due to delays resulting from the CoVid-19 pandemic) and existed of 3 experiments. Two of these experiments were supposed to take place at the greenhouse facilities at the Theoretical and Experimental Ecology Station, SETE-CNRS, Moulis, France (hosting institution) and one was planned to take place at the Montpellier European ECOTRON. Because of unpredictable delays in the larger framework the project was integrated in, it became evident after approx. eight month that it was impossible to meet the project aims. Therefore the applicant decided to prematurely terminate the project without producing any results.
