The project performs integrated HIP heat treatments for cast, additive manufactured or coated Ni-base superalloys and investigates the influence of the parameters temperature, pressure, time and cooling rate on the microstructure and corresponding mechanical properties. In the frame of a transfer project, the company Quintus Technologies AB takes an active part in the scaling up of the HIP-technology with fast cooling to meet future large-scale industrial needs in the gas turbine industry.
