Term

Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 403584255
The project evaluates the importance of lncRNAs in the control of the BRG1 chromatin remodeling complex. In the past funding period, we identified BRG1-interacting lncRNAs and their importance for BRG1 genomic binding. We characterised two BRG1-interacting lncRNAs and reported their function in endothelial cells. In the next funding period, we will identify the general principle of the interaction of BRG1 with lncRNAs (i.e. phase separation vs. scaffolding function) and the functional consequences for the epigenetic control (histone positioning, 3D-chromatin structure) of endothelial gene expression and splicing.
