Functional role of neuronal ageing on neuron-T cell interaction during viral CNS infection (A29*)

In project A29N, we will deliver insights into the molecular dynamics regulating the age-dependent interplay of the immune and nervous system. We will use new cultivation techniques mimicking neuronal ageing in vitro and cell type specific metabolic labeling in vivo to investigate CD8+ T cell/neuron interactions during systemic infection with neurotropic Langat virus. A29N will collaborate with A25, B08, B14, B16, B19 and Z01.
