The objective of C06 in the 3rd phase is the development and validation of a compact optoelectronic THz spectroscopy and correlation radar system featuring multiple spatially distributed photonic THz transmitters and receivers for classifying and localizing materials in dynamic scenarios. This is achieved by combining outcomes of the 2nd phase and new innovations including monolithically integrated photonic THz transceivers, the development of a novel compact multistatic spectroscopy system, the investigation of a new optoelectronic correlation radar, and the invention of iterative multistep algorithms to effectively classify materials in dynamic environments.
