Primary goal of subproject A04 is the development of methods for damage-controlled cold flat rolling. Besides typical cold flat rolling parameters, the major focus will be on the longitudinal belt tension.. Furthermore, the quantitative prediction of the void healing criterion, developed in the first funding period, will be improved by taking sub-cavity development into account and the applicability of the void healing criterion will be enhanced by mapping the evolution of void distributions via meta-modeling.
