Project Details
Interfaces with N-Heteropolycycles: Morphologies, Electronic Properties and Excited States Dynamics (B06)
Subject Area
Physical Chemistry of Solids and Surfaces, Material Characterisation
Term
since 2017
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 281029004
The project will characterize the electronic, non-linear optical, magneto-optical, and chiro-optical properties as well as the dynamics of electronically excited states at interfaces with N-heteropolycycles and with thin films. In addition, the absorption properties and morphologies are analysed to gain a deep understanding of the structure/property relationships. In order to answer the central questions and achieve the objectives, a comprehensive range of experimental methods is available, which is very well-established in the working group.
