Integrators that acclimate plastid RNA homeostasis in response to environmental and metabolic stimuli (A03)

Subject Area Plant Physiology
Term from 2016 to 2024
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 270050988

Project Description

We will focus on the integrative role of chloroplast RNA binding proteins, their RNA targets, interaction partners and ligands in RNA stabilisation and translation during acclimation. The project will quantify the putative limiting role of HCF145 and PrfB3 during acclimation and is hunting down the metabolic ligand of HCF145. In a new line of research, the dynamic role of the chloroplast RNA methylome during acclimation will be investigated.
