Project Details
Configuration and design of hybrid solids (C02)
Subject Area
Engineering Design, Machine Elements, Product Development
Term
since 2015
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 252662854
The existing development environment will be further developed and complemented in the 3rd funding period. The manufacturing stage model is extended by a dynamic process chain configuration and tolerance considerations. Furthermore, the multi-material topology optimization (IZEO) for thermomechanically stressed components will be extended, the eco-efficiency of tailored forming components will be investigated and finally a coordination mechanism within the development environment will be implemented by a multi-agent system to achieve precise assistance and automation of individual activities in the design of tailored forming components.
