The dielectric properties of several types of biomolecules will be determined over the extremely wide frequency range between 10 MHz and 110 GHz. The data will be acquired as a function of temperature and sample concentration. Oligonucleotides and DNA as well as aminoacids, peptides and proteins will be studied. Digestion and sysnthesis of DNA will be dielectrically monitored. A systematic variation of peptide length will carried out. Systematic errors will be determined by simulation calculations. The present system's accuracy will be improved by electronic means.
