Aufbau zweidimensionaler Polymere durch metallorganische Grenzflächenkomplexierung
Organische Molekülchemie - Synthese, Charakterisierung
Zusammenfassung der Projektergebnisse
In conclusion, the project has revealed a general applicability for the formation of covalent monolayer sheets at an air/water interface applying monomers 1 and 2a,b. Whether these sheets however qualify as 2DPs is a rather complex matter and still awaits to be proven. Furthermore, first insights into the transfer stability of non-irradiated monolayers of 2a onto various substrates could be gained using a confocal laser scanning microscope. These findings offer novel possibilities for micro patterning of such highly fluorescent films. Two dimensional polymers in general offer a high nano-filtration potential for their application in e.g. molecular coatings, nano filtration membranes and catalyst platforms which can be tuned by chemical modification of the respective monomers. The photo photodevelopment light-sensitive materials sensitive monolayers of 2a offer a novel approach for the development of light-sensitive materials that can be patterned on the micrometer scale without any need for a photomask while also avoiding ablation processes. However, further investigations have to proof the reproducibility and applicability of this technique.
