DFG Priority Programme SPP1529 “Evolutionary plant solutions to ecological challenges: Molecular mechanisms underlying adaptive traits in the Brassicaceae s.l.” is intended to bring together different fields and novel approaches of experimental and in silico research in order to generate a broader understanding of natural variation and evolution that has not previously been feasible. This project has the following objectives. Firstly, this project will fulfil core administrative tasks of organization and communication within the SPP. This involves support for the technical and scientific organization of workshops and meetings within the SPP.Secondly, this project is intended to foster the exchange of information and the communication between the constituting projects. This will involve the establishment and maintenance of a simple, web-based resource, through which all members of the SPP can find, access and exchange important and useful information. The format will be chosen so that it is suitable for making information, datasets and tools created by the SPP available to a broader scientific community in a user-friendly form gradually and particularly after the end of the SPP. Thirdly, this project will render the activities within the SPP visible to the public and maintain a line of communication with critical resources such as TAIR and NASC.
