Our goal is to communicate the fascination and relevance of Galactic astronomy to decision makers and the general public, in particular younger audiences. We build on the achievements of the past funding periods and expand our activities, with a particular emphasis on wider dissemi-nation of the materials. The increased importance of Gaia data for this funding period will entail a more prominent role for our collaboration with the Gaia Data Processing and Analysis Consorti-um outreach team. In order to increase the general visibility of SFB research, we will make use of exhibition elements, visualizations, online videos, printed materials, public talks, classical and social media.
