Project Details
New donor-/acceptor hybrids (C03)
Subject Area
Organic Molecular Chemistry - Synthesis and Characterisation
Term
from 2009 to 2017
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 60803019
Electron-hole pairs (transient spin centres) play in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) as well as in organic photovoltaic devices a fundamental role. Project C3 deals on one hand with the synthesis and characterization of new thermotropic liquid crystalline low-bandgap absorber materials on the basis of pyrazine-containing benzotriazoles for the application in photovoltaic devices and on the other hand with the synthesis and characterization of phenazine-based new dual emitters which show for the first time electrically driven simultaneous emission from the singlet as well as from the triplet state.
