Project Description

We will include dynamical charm quarks in our staggered fermion analysis and determine the equation of state. We repeat our earlier simulations done with staggered fermions using Wilson fermions and overlap fermions. Axions can have a temperature dependent mass related to the topological susceptibility, which we will calculate. Another goal is the determination of the equation of state for the standard model for a range of temperatures of several orders of magnitude.
