Final Report Abstract

In summary several attempts were undertaken to prepare new ligands for defined molybdenum complexes for the catalytic reduction of dinitrogen towards ammonia formation. Only in few cases the synthetic strategy was successful to obtain reasonable amounts of ligands. The catalytic abilities towards molybdenum-catalyzed reduction will investigated in further studies.
