Project Details
Modulation of excitation/inhibition balance by NMDAR antagonism in depression (A06)
Subject Area
Human Cognitive and Systems Neuroscience
Term
from 2008 to 2019
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 36555331
We will investigate the cellular mechanisms by which the NMDAR antagonist Ketamine changes the brains functional network. These therapeutically desired neuronal changes will then be investigated for their influence on negative attentional bias in depression prone individuals. This translation is reached by combined investigation of molecular and systems levels in analogous experiments in humans and mouse models.
