Theory of photonic devices at the quantum-optical limit (B01)

Subject Area Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics
Term from 2008 to 2019
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 43659573

Project Description

The project is focused on the microscopic description of the light-matter interaction and thermal effects in quantum dot (QD) structures in emitters for non-classical light (single QD devices) or as QD-waveguide circuits for generation, propagation and information processing of non-classical light. Main objective is a detailed understanding of the interplay of spin configuration, reservoir dynamics, Coulomb- and electron-phonon correlations.
