This is the proposal for a 2-year project to be accomplished at the University of Gothenburg, in collaboration with Prof. Marek Abramowicz and his working group. The assignment of tasks is the investigation of the impact of primordial black holes on astrophysical objects in the Milky Way. Examples are the Earth, the Sun, or compact objects like white dwarfs and neutron stars. In the early phase of the Universe, primordial black holes (PBHs) are believed to have formed, some of them still existing today. Such black holes are much smaller than typical astrophysical black holes. They have a mass of Mpbh ≥ 1015g. The influence of these black holes while traversing matter is proposed to be studied. In particular, the possibility of the formation of shock and accretion environments is planned to be examined. Such shocks can occur when a PBH traverses dense matter and thereby causes density fluctuations. The final step of this project is the calculation of the resulting particle spectra and their comparison with experimental data. Here, charged particle spectra like those of protons, but also photon and neutrino spectra can be compared to data from current experiments like GLAST, PAMELA and IceCube.
