Many-body correlations caused by the finite charging energy dominate the real-time dynamics and the steady-state of quantum-impurity systems out of equilibrium. The central focus of this project will be the application of scattering numerical renormalization group method to magneto-transport and spintronics which was developed during the previous funding period. In particular we will extend our method to more complex nano-devices such as nano-bridges. The results will be benchmarked for small interaction strength by comparison with perturbative and conserving Keldysh approaches. We will pursue ideas to extent the time-dependent NRG to strongly interacting quantum systems driven by external pulses and arbitrary time-dependent Hamiltonians.
