This research project aims at tackling multiple stages on the road from designing to functionalizing 3d magnetic textures and solitons. We will populate the zoo of magnetic textures with more textures that might have interesting properties in objective O2. We will explore the small amplitude dynamics of textures in objective O3 where we will unveil novel effects. We will contribute fundamental understanding and ideas for functionalization of collective motion such as translational dynamics of 3d textures in objective O4. We will analyze the dynamics of textures far from equilibrium in objective O5, where we will consider what happens beyond instabilities of textures or upon strong driving forces. All projects will contribute to the development of new techniques - numerically, analytically, and for the evaluation of experimental results - summarized under objective O1.
