The previous findings of the CRC 1266 demonstrate the fundamental significance of demography in shaping and transforming societies at various scales. S05 will explore the reciprocal relationship between demography, disease and mobility in transformative processes. We achieve this by examining existing data from the CRC 1266 (archaeological, genetic, osteological, palaeodemographic), as well as newly collected data.
