Characterisation of pathogen-specific T cells in viral haemorrhagic fever (C02)

Subject Area Immunology
Term since 2024
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 512741711

Project Description

In this project we will investigate if differences in the priming of pathogen-specific T cells affects the clinical disease course and outcome in human Lassa Fever (LF). We will investigate the cellular host immune response of LF patients. During this project we will establish pipelines to conduct immunological research in African partner sites and provide insights about the pathophysiology of a highly pathogenic haemorrhagic fever virus.
