Final Report Abstract
In summary this work contributed essentially to the growing knowledge in the field of growth signaling, which is reflected by a huge interest in our work, presentations and publications by the scientific community. I could identify a crucial mechanism of mTOR regulation through compartment specific localization of Rheb and was able to describe a new signaling component, namely Epac2 that activates Rheb by charging it with GTP.
