AEI-DFG: Transcending boundaries in Analysis through nonlocality
Subject Area
Mathematics
Term
since 2024
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 541771122
The goal of the project "Transcending boundaries in Analysis through nonlocality" is excellent research in the area of partial differential equations and, more concretely, in the area of nonlocal operators. Four researchers experienced in this field work together with early-career researchers at four sites in Bielefeld, Munich, Barcelona and Madrid on the following interacting topics: Nonlocal free boundary value problems Stability of functional inequalities Coercivity estimates for nonlocal energy forms Point-wise estimates for nonlocal parabolic flows The complementary expertise in regularity theory, functional analysis, and spectral theory will be combined to leverage synergies at the four institutions and to produce exciting research results on nonlocal operators.
