Manufacturing technology for piezo modules with integrated ceramic composites and functional polymers for the integration in active metallic devices (A06)

Subject Area Production Automation and Assembly Technology
Term from 2007 to 2018
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 21440441

Project Description

Object of research is the development of a new manufacturing technology suitable for mass production of functionalized metal shapes for use in active components. Based on the large production-ready two-component(2K)-micro injection molding technology piezoceramic elements will be contacted and connected by electrically conductive thermoplastics. The insulation, packaging and the close to the shape design of the piezo modules occur in a subsequent in-situ process.
