The atlas of steroid hormones in human genital tissues by simultaneous determination of the delta-5, alternative, backdoor and 11-oxygenated C-19 metabolites (M06)

This project will work with a combination, significant extension and validation of our existing LC-MS/MS methods for the simultaneous, sensitive and specific determination of defined steroid metabolites representing the classical, the alternative, the backdoor and the 11-oxygenated C19 androgen synthesis pathways. Second, the PIs plan to compare the androgenic steroidomes of different specific, molecularly defined (mutation-positive) forms of XY-DSD.
