The PIs will use human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) as a model system to analyse sex chromosome and sex hormone action during early stages of human brain development as well as during GnRH+ neuronal differentiation in 46,XX, 46,XY and sex hormone receptor-deficient cells. Initially, they will use two hiPSCs derived from patients with complete androgen insensitivity (CAIS) generated for this project.
