One of FDLink's goals is to effectively and precisely match researchers and their requirements to the services and offerings that already exist or are being developed. The RDM contact points at the universities should be enabled to classify the needs of researchers in a targeted manner, not only against the background of their own services, but also against the background of the overarching services, and to provide them with the appropriate tools. For this purpose, a comparative overview is not only necessary on the part of the universities, but also supra-institutional service providers must clearly communicate descriptions, target groups and use cases of their services. In FDLink, handouts, concepts and models are to be developed in which institutional and supra-institutional RDM services are more closely interlinked. Our collaborative work focuses on the design and establishment of organizational and accountability structures to improve the linkage of scientific research practice with research data infrastructures within and beyond universities: strategies to facilitate the establishment and promotion of RDM at the faculties, organizational embedding in institutions, as well as training, education and consulting programs are at the forefront.
