Selective autophagy of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER-phagy) is pivotal for remodeling the ER network and ER-phagy receptors play a central role in this process. By combining innovative super-resolution microscopy to biochemical approaches, this project will unravel the molecular signature of the protein landscape that orchestrates ER-phagy and use this knowledge to understand cell-type and stress-dependent ER-phagy pathways.
