The project explores cycling as a sensory and cooperative practice of creating mobile publics. The aim is to investigate cooperative bicycle mobility practices of diverse collectives and their aesthetic practices including moving/image and apps. Special attention is given to collectives that produce public space from the perspective of FLINTA as well as mobility-impaired people. Bicycle collectives and the media of cycling are explored by using a multidimensional approach of participant observation, sensory ethnographies, and (moving) image analysis. Through public science formats, actors cooperatively shape the research design.
