Optimizing cortical interneuron circuits for flexible integration of information streams (A08)

Subject Area Experimental and Theoretical Network Neuroscience
Term since 2024
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 514483642

Project Description

The main goal of this project is to investigate how different interneuron types and the circuits they form support a flexible integration of different sources of information. To address this question, we will combine computational circuit modelling with machine learning-based optimisation. We will also collaborate with researchers in the CRC, to investigate interactions of different information streams in high-dimensional neural data.
