To support the development of variable cyber-physical systems (CPS) that can be customized to different application contexts and requirements, the V-SUM must become variability-aware. The V-SUM must be capable to describe, reason, and preserve consistency across the different coupled models as well as across their variants and versions. Thus, we aim to uniformly represent variability by deltas and to extend consistency and view type specifications to be variability-aware. We expand consistency preservation with change and effect analysis to identify affected variants and versions and apply higher-order deltas to consistently adapt all variants and version of coupled models.
