The chiral induced spin selectivity (CISS) effect builds up electron hyperpolarization upon transport through helical molecules. Aiming for optimizing the hyperpolarization and electronic transport, we will investigate the role of the molecular morphology, surface interactions, interface properties and substrate magnetization. Hybrid system of self-assembled molecule layers on magnetic Au/Co/Au heterostructures supplemented by large-scale simulations will be used to study systematically the impact of molecular helicity, various end groups, defects and magnetic substrates towards magneto-transport.
