In the present DFG funding application "Open Access Publication Costs" of Helmholtz Zentrum München, the initial situation, objectives and measures for optimizing administrative and technical structures are presented in order to map cost data for open access publications in an adequate and standardized manner and thus to establish cost transparency and monitoring of publication costs. Furthermore, the necessary conditions will be created to support sustainable financing of open access publishing of research results. Furthermore, measures to increase the ORCID registration rate as well as to improve the evidence and accessibility of DFG funded publications will be implemented.
