Open- Access publication costs / 2023 - 2025 / Kiel Institute for the World Economy

The project aims to establish a comprehensive collection and evaluation of publication data including all components of publication costs and, derived from this, the planning and budgeting of publication costs, including in particular, open access costs at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW Kiel). This serves in particular to ensure that publications by IfW Kiel authors are increasingly published in Open Access and that the necessary funding is made available for this purpose. In addition, further steps are to be taken to promote open access publishing at IfW Kiel. This concerns the adaptation of the Open Access strategy, adapted target systems, active information of researchers and awareness regarding Open Access.
