In project C8N|Haag/Meermann, different adsorber materials will be synthesized, which interact Fluorine-Specifically with environmentally relevant per- and polyfluorinated pollutants (PFASs). To this end, novel adsor-bent materials for the environmental monitoring of PFASs will be synthesized and novel and powerful instru-mental methods for the analysis of PFASs will be developed. Future possible fields of application of the combination of new adsorber materials and analytical techniques are in the field of wastewater treatment as well as water purification.
