The goal of this project is to find applications and expansions of the algebro-geometric theory of the classical Yang-Baxter equation. In particular, it is planned to develop related algebro-geometric approaches to Poisson-Lie groups and other Yang-Baxter equations, especially the quantum Yang-Baxter equation.
