Project Description

The mixing process at transcritical conditions is still not well understood, thus hindering the development of accurate predictive tools. In this project, high order discontinuous Galerkin schemes for compressible (mul-tiphase) flows, novel optical techniques and thermodynamic models are synergically integrated zur Beschreibung and classification derverschiedenen Zerfallsregime. In addition, this unique database will ena-ble for the first time the validation of the different conceptual models for the transcritical region.
