The research project assumes an increase and diversification in the examination of history in contemporary art. The central question is how poietic procedures of historicizing intervene in dominant representations of history? What are the consequences? It is necessary to analyse how poietic procedures of historicizing as intervening practices both reject and draft historical representations and how they initiate processes of negotiation and the production of historicity which have an impact on the present?
