Project Details
Physical, numerical modelling of the functionalized road at loading by tires (A01)
Subject Area
Applied Mechanics, Statics and Dynamics
Term
since 2022
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 453596084
In TP A01, a realistic tire-road interaction model is developed as multi-physical finite element (FE) model for short-term loading. Thereby, the whole road construction including the sensitive road surface layer (TP A03), concrete and asphalt layers (TP A05, A06), the subsoil (TP A07), the sensor technology (TP A03, A05, B02) and dynamic tire loads (TP A02, A03, B02) are considered. The physical model enables investigations on the structural behavior of the future road system, is base for model reduction and uncertainty quantification (TP B04, B05) and is one essential component of the digital twin of the road system that is aspired by SFB/TRR 339.
