Our project investigates modern visual analytic techniques for EEG multivariate time series. We focus on Event-Related-Potential analyses, specifically, model-based results on naturalistic experimental designs. In order to explore such large experimental data sets, find relevant regions, or identify outlying data, we investigate the usage of parallel coordinates as well as temporal dimensionality reduction methods. We further explore how to best visualize uncertainty in these high-dimensional multivariate time series, and how visualizing single-trial feature attribution of modern deep classifiers can help to understand our data.
