Applicant Simone Winter, since 2/2022
Term since 2022
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 491250510

As a public and non-profit research institution, the IPK pursues the goal of making its research results freely accessible to a broad public worldwide without financial, technical or legal barriers. In order to achieve this goal, the IPK issued guidelines on open access publications in March 2015. In these guidelines, the IPK encourages its scientists to publish their research results in digital, freely accessible form and supports them in pursuing first or second Open Access publications. The IPK continues to support its scientists in applying for funding, including in applying for or acquiring separate funding for Open Access publications of project-related research results. The overarching goal of the present application is to enable OA publications by further developing the implemented procedures (more efficient structuring and transparency of funding for OA publications).
