Term

Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 442419336
In this project, localizable wireless electromyography (EMG) transponders are designed and implemented to enable real-time acquisition of surface EMG data synchronously with high-precision wireless localization. For this purpose, a 61 GHz transceiver will be designed in CMOS technology, which emits the phase coherent signal necessary for the holographic localization process and has to be extremely energy efficient. In a further step, the transceiver is integrated into an EMG sensor platform, which will be evaluated in test series on probands, e.g. in the face or on legs, for the analysis of facial expressions or gait.
