Lifetime assessment of offshore megastructures based on robustly updated digital twins (C04)

Subproject C04 works on the model adaptivity of the digital twin in the CRC 1463. To have an accurate structural model, the digital twin needs to be updated frequently using model updating. Therefore, model-updating methods considering uncertainty were developed during the first funding period. In the second funding period, methods to use the updated digital twin for predictions regarding the remaining lifetime of the real twin will be developed. Furthermore, to improve the computational efficiency of the model-updating methods, they will be combined with the results of subproject C02.
