Robust monitoring concepts for offshore wind turbines (C01)

The aim of subproject C01 is to provide a methodology for an optimal sensor placement under the consideration of reliability-based criteria. This criteria will be based on ageing phenomena of measurement instruments that were described within the first funding period. The whole procedure will encounter different integration levels given by sensor types measuring different quantities. Moreover, the algorithms will be tested through collaborative laboratory and field experiments within the CRC for verification and validation. Subproject C01 targets an algorithmic computation of possible sensor network configurations using a reliability-based optimal sensor placement to support decision-making processes.
