Project Description

Realistic combination approaches for the specific environmental conditions are crucial for the design of offshore megastructures. The subproject A05 investigates the stochastic modelling and prediction of simultaneously occurring environmental conditions, taking into account the direction of action and temporal change of the load parameters. In the second funding period, the previously developed combination methodology will be used for the first time for aero-hydro-servo-elastic simulations with the digital twin for the identification, verification and probabilistic description of new or previously insufficiently considered combinations of environmental and operating conditions of offshore megastructures.
